out on lamp last night

went out early hrs on lamp got 5 rabbits just round doors could have run more but its early and would have been stupid as dog isnt fully fit and greedy .im suprised at just how many rabbits were out maybe the fox control is payin off has anyone else noticed an increase in numbers in their area.. only saw one hare though but maybe they were in woods kind of doubt it though as round here its a sign of a good dog if it can catch a hare, pregnant a leverett it doesnt matter, its a hare doesnt matter that next year there wont be any for their superdog to run because hel have sold it by then as top drawer hare dog lol. saw good few roe feeding just off the wood edge one of which seemed to have gammy leg probably been clipped by motor as some of woods are split by roads. noticed a lot of farms with donkeys as well is there some new scheme in the off to farm them or is sanctuarys giving them away willy nilly they have an unmistakeable scent it reminded me of blackpool beach riding them as a kid n gave me hankering for a 99
