changing drop at comb

Recommended Posts

am looking for a new gun but almost every one i try does not fit me very well. When the gun is in it's natural shouldering location, my line of sight is far too low, by a fair bit i think dont know exactly how much, but how do you make this better so my line of sight is better, i think it may be too much for adjustable shims

any help guys? cheers

really depends on the gun

trap.......they shoot high (a foot or more) so you can always see the target)

sporter.....usualy shoot a fraction high ( a couple of inches)

o/u or sbs

it could be the stock length that is cuasing the problem, by not allowing the gun into your shoulder properly

cheers
