I was at wylam monday night for 3 hours in the pissing rain, didnt see many fish which was wierd anyway managed too hook a fish which was on for 10mins or so before taking me down the fast water, after wading my way round obsicals and untangling line, i still had the fish on,so i was happy as i just flicked the bait runner and let it go for 5 mins or so, i got the fish to the net 20 mins later which looked to have been 20lb+ fresh off the tide, just when i thought your mine,my luck changed and off he went again this time for a dance and i lost him after one hell of a fight! Back to the pool and i had company on other bank he only went on to catch another 6 fresh run fish in about and hour and me well i had every spinner in my box through there without another tug, i called it a day and was very pissed of to say the least!

Yesderday i decided with some fresh water i would fish further up the tyne, south tyne i got there about 5pm hieght and colour spot on but with 5 people fishing nothing caught all day i thought it was going to be hard work, first run through i netted a 5lb sea trout which i killed will upload photo later, second run through and i had lost another two fish both salmon i imagine and the other lads lost 4 between them, i fished it out till dark losing another fish and netted a 12lb coloured fish returned!
