Frank. spot on frank... i always keep callin them in until they turn and start gettin fidgety... even then its best to decide whether or not your dog will be able to make up the ground... i have been guilty of creating a few lamp shy foxes because its hard to think sensible when the adrenaline starts to pump ... i find as well that its best to keep callin even when the dog is slipped because foxes often turn to have a second look and that will usually give the dog a few good extra yards ... when your coursin a slippery customer like a fox with a single handed dog then every yard counts lol...
