My first lurcher

Hi All

 

After years of being out hunting/walking with other peoples dogs,I finally bit the bullet and got my own lurcher.

Bitch pup 4 months old now,hunted with both parents so know the breed/form.very smooth coat { prefer smooth coated.No doubt I will need yere help and advise along the way,I have her sitting on command at the moment and nearly walking to heel,am i starting to train with her too young ? she is fairly hyper at the moment I suppose that is just because she is still at puppy stage .

Bull grey and wheaten grey although very smooth for wheaten blood

i have just started taking my first lucher awt on lamp he is saluki whippet bull greyhound 10 11 month old 22 23 inch caught two rabbits other night straight away retrived both took him awt agian caught 2 again but wouldnt retrive an let them go could this be because i ran him with my mates dog an wil he make a habbit of this will ad pics of him soon for all to have a look at and does parvo effect a dogs growth as he had it at 3 month old luckly pulled threw
