tdesnos 6
Hi all, Does anyone know the best way for sharpening a Helle Fjelkniven? It seems to be a triple laminate, single beveled blade. It was fairly sharp when i bought, i thought i'd try and make it a bit sharper - but screwed up What i have been doing in my attempts is using a Fallkniven DC4 sharpening stone which has a fiarly fine diamond side and a smooth ceramic side. I've been watching a few vids on you tube but there's a myriad of different methods and i don't want to mess it up anymore! Thanks! Tris

trooperman 73
you need a shallow angle on the blade so many people make the mistake of holding the knife at to great an angle and all you do then is rough up the shoulder. paul
