OHIO STEVE 11 Posted November 23, 2006 Report Share Posted November 23, 2006 Jake ( my 17 year old) and I decided the other day that we were NOT gonna go to Thanksgiving dinner at my wifes family . we instead were gonna go hunting together like we did last year. Well we had this all planned out. I haven't been in a while and I have a couple og dogs I think are pretty decent so I am pretty excited about going. ANgie left this morning in the truck to go to her brothers house an hour or so away for dinner.....Jake and I get the collars all sorted out last night and put new batteries in them.....We get all the boxes sorterd out ( 5 of them BTW) and get new batteries in two of them so we have a spare with us. I decide I am gonna take BADGER and LUCY cause he is a very good dog and she is a puppy that has not been to the woods yet. I go buy a new shovel handle and get it put in....get the dogs collared up and loaded....get the equipment all loaded into Jakes van.......The f##KIN battery is stone cold dead!!!!! No jumper cables...no charger...no other vehicle to drive.....I Cannot believe the luck I have sometimes! Quote Link to post
