few pics of my pup jump

Recommended Posts

nice dog mate .it looks like its growth plate is funny in its right foot atb

his growth plate would be funny looking having him jump

at 6 months old nothing is properly formed is this lad stupid

so what ur saying is'' a lurcher pup at 6 mth old should not be jumping a pice ov 1 foot high anti' rabbit mesh... and a 2 foot pice with a spar on top ov it... :whistling:

yea of cource it shouldnt keep letting him do that and it will take

its toll on the dogs bones a year is time enough.

i had a dog that damaged its spine from jumping up and down

from his foot high bed.so it doesnt matter how high it is

he might jump it fine 20 times a day but he only has to land

wrong once for him not to be able to run properly again

and that frnce is well more than a foot high after all its taller than the

dog and he looks about 19 inch tts

read my post properly''' i seid the anti rabbit mesh is a foot high' the dogs jumping.. n the fence is two picies ov one foot rabbit mesh on top ov each outher with a spar on top' hence 2 foot or just over' so yea that one is going to be taller than the dog.. iv bin in this game 40yrs mate n not once have i had a problem with letting a young dog jump if it wants to' n some u cant even stop' the lurchers me n my pall run with our pack' where natural born jumpers at a very young age' n at 8 or 9 mth old mine was flying over sheep netting.. its just all the learning curve for a lurcher.. am not saying things cant happen' ov course thay can' but it sounds like u was very unlucky with ur dog getting injured' just jumping on n off a foot bed...ATB.B

every man to his own so i just think its a bit young
