hi mate! many of davy's posts are very informative but if you want to keep your gun a little lighter you can always go fro the MTC mamba light which i have recently done a review on if you look in the 'rifle reviews' section. it has no illuminated reticle and no big sunshade which makes it lighter and cheaper. if you've got a good lamp you wont need illuminated reticle as you can still see the crosshairs when the beams on a rabbit. i have purchased a sniper systems 13"-27" bipod which allows me to shoot into trees from a rock solid kneeling position unlike the most common, 9"-13" and 6"-9" bipods which you can only shoot from prone (lying down). the bipod which i use also has a tilt mechaism which alows you to level your cross hair. at £60 there quite a good deal. i am thinking of getting a sling but would quite like to save up for a laser range finder. i've looked at a lot of reviews and the best neoprene sling seems to be the 'super sling' its pricey at £35 but it comes ready fitted with sling swivels and all you need to buy are the studs. as i said i've done a review on the MTC mamba light which you can see here: http://www.thehuntinglife.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=153453

i'm a higher mag person and usually keep it on 14x.
