hi all im just after a bit of advice. I have a 15 week old russel pup and shes had a few rats out of the trap. I wouldnt have given them to her at this age but when i was walking her she caught 1 under some zink sheeting and killed it. But once she kills them she runs of and eats them. but she will not run away from me unless shes got a rat. Has anybody got any ideas of how to stop her from eating them.

sorry lads posted this in the wrong section if someone can move it for me please

 My patterdale bitch used to do the same , but you will find when she starts ratting proply she should stop, with my bitch because she was young and with other dogs at the time of ratting it was a case of she caught it , it was hers , and rather than letting the other dogs have it she would eat it, but she clicked after a bit that while she was munching , rats were getting away, and then she just stopped, she now just kills , drops , then straight on to the next . :D
