Guest govelforn
Very much a beginner myself so have read books by Jackie Drakeford and Brian Plummer. Just finished The Lurcher, Training and Hunting by Frank Sheardown which was quite a good read. Now the difficult bit - putting theory into practice, you know what though, the dog caught a rabbit and he never read any of the books! Good luck Quote Link to post

macker 5
i would leave the plummer books on the shelve. good info but more like novel lurchers and long dogs for me for an author that is not kennel blind and one i will always have close by. plenty of other authors as mentioned above that have written very good books from experience in the field . i just got mislead from reading plummer crap. they are all fiction.
