gibby 0
Definately feed them raw meat mate. Mine get mostly rabbit supplemented with quail, pheasant, the occasional day old chick, or just about anything I catch. At this time of year you will be ok to leave a rabbit for a few days without it rotting provided it has been gutted. What I do once I've defrosted a rabbit is cut bits off it to feed them seperately and leave the rest in the shed. With my 2 ferrets a rabbit usually lasts 2-3 days this way depending on its size. Your ferrets may eat more or less but you will soon know how much to give them. Cheers Edited October 31, 2006 by gibby Quote Link to post

Squirrel_Basher 17,103
Yorkshire lad -Remove the flesh that isnt eaten every day mate and search the bedding for any hidden bits as it will decay and may cause problems .Fresh food daily is another good excuse to get out and find more .Water should be available at all times as well .
