jenksi87 3
right then boys and girls, our lasses dad has a beddie x whippet that is roughly 14-16 month old (not sure of exact age). he has not been worked or seen anything at all. what i'm wanting to know is: 1) has it been left too long to start him working (i'm guessing not as he's only really getting out of that puppy stage) 2) whats the best way to bring him on, i was going to take him ferreting with me, but obviously its too late now as i dont dig to nests full of young rabbits 3) i keep terriers so i have no real experience of running dogs so are there any tips/ things i should know? any help / advice would be much appreciated. cheers Quote Link to post
Hannah4181 260
If you show him the game, his instincts should kick in. Plenty of walks with the terriers bushing cover, he'll work it out in no time. Quote Link to post
