Guest Vermindog
:welcomeani: Hi Mavphill, the jacks, don,t actually catch the deer just chivvey them along to the guns, they do the same with the wild boar, but it is not as easy as it sounds, these animals are in very thick undergrowth generally, and the dogs(and us poor sweepers) have to go in, find them, flush them out, and the dogs then run the deer or boar to the guns, this is also not as easy as it sounds , as the boar definatly will not go the way the dogs want them to, so they are then herded along by the dogs. rgds Dave.
