went for a quick flick last night with the lurcher, missis wanted to see her work abit, first field the wind was against us, called one up but it was arcing around into the wind so i let the dog loose just to give her a run, the dog done well made up some ground but never made contact, the missis said i let her go to soon. off to the next field, wind blowin right, called one up slipped the dog, she will get this one i though,{ the field is stubble} after about 60-70yds the bloody thing dissappered, the dog was bouncing about all over the place, missis said its gone to ground, no its gone up the field i said, we walked up to where the dog was and there in the middle of this field is a poxy one

hole rabbit kick out, rabbit shit out side the hole, just abit bigger than your hands together bout 6inch across. i no its more than likely this years offspring but to get down that hole was summut else, i though about going for the terrier but looking at the hole the terrier had no chance of getting there, so best was given to him, ive run plenty in in the day time but was first last night, the missis said the dog done well and i said so did you cheers,
