BROCOCK HUNTER .22 THUMBHOLE STOCK

Recommended Posts

hi i bought this a couple of days ago secondhand from someone who has looked after it. it is in very good condition, there is a mark underneath the stock by the sling stud. This comes with the supplied silencer as well as a sling. I am selling this on because it is a bit too light for me, i like my rifles a bit heavier. Also i have not been able to chrono it, but by firing it against my HW97k it is almost on par for power (MY 97 is at 11.6lbs. There is no marking on the metalwork at all, but the silencer has the usual couple of end scratches which can easily be repainted. This is a quality PCP and bearing in mind you are also getting the deluxe TH stock as well. I am asking for £250 f2f or £260 posted. My link My link My link any questions please pm.

I agree be very careful this has been stopped on another forum

Thankyou for that (genuinely, wait till you read all my post) , i have actually been away from the forum for a while so this is my first chance to reply...i bought this rifle off another forum from someone who sold it to me with one fault- it leaked 50bar in the first month then stayed constant till shot.It arrived at mine, i took it to the gunny's to fill up. i fired 6 superdomes out of it, was very pleased with the results, but the rifle was too light for me (i'm 15 stone and 6ft tall. the Brocock is like a pea shooter in comparison with my 97K for weight) When i put the rifle up for sale, it was actually in my local gun shop (i'd told them that it was leaking, how much to fix seals,=£50)i put the rifle up for sale knowing that whoever bought it would have a 100% working Hunter.However....once i saw what the original seller said about me, i took it back out (my gunsmith hadn't by that point got round to re-sealing). i then left the rifle for a bit . Today i fired her for the first time since. The pellet didn't even leave the barrel. Now for a rifle to leak '50bar' in a month and be advertised at that, and then a week and a half later after buying to not be able to expel a pellet....

Methinks a certain seller wasn't exactly honest in his original description. Now, i am thankfull of all the awareness that came around because if it hadn't, i wouldn't have realized i'd been skanked. i am now going to turn a bad buy into a 'hopefully ' good thing for other Brocock Hunter owners. i'm going to strip her down and take photos of all the stages (there are no breakdown diagrams or photos for the Hunter available on the web), but i will need a bit of help since this is my first PCP breakdown. if any of you are interested in this please pm me. if you know how to break down a PCP get in touch and we can sort this little project out. chers.
