RD350 Cafe Racer style classic for sale

Recommended Posts

Don't want to sell but have too!!

This bike really does turn heads, first off by the sound and then the look. The workmanship is absolutely beautiful. The ignition is mounted under the left side of the tank fitted to a Stainless plate.

Really draws a crowd.

A 1972 YDS7 with a RD350b engine. (registered as such)

The bike was built using a 1972 YDS7 frame. Apart from the colour is unmodified, all the brackets are still there.

The motor has an RD type 522 bottom end, with RD350 barrels on standard size and new rings.

I don't know the make of the exhaust, but They make a lovely sound.

Comes with virtually new tyres.

It has a good set of rear shocks from a SR500. The tank is from the same RD as the motor and is good inside.

There is a very slight oil leak (from the gearbox shaft seal I think) and the top end can be a little rattly on tickover, but all the old rd's are.

The bike has just had new handle bars, a fresh oil change, new plugs, new air filters and carbs cleaned.

Fitted with a Giuliari Daytona seat.

A lovely set of rear sets

The rear guard and chain guard are fabricated in Stainless steel and the forks have an aluminium fork brace. Also the rear brake line/bar is stainless

Although the speedo reads jusy under 9000 miles, due to the replacement engine I would disregard this. The replacement has not done many miles since the rebuild.

The bike will come with 1 years daytime MOT only and is road tax free.

This bike looks even better in the flesh.
