kobi2k4 2
1) there is no rabbiting season they are classed as vermin ... some people stop hunting them when its breadin season so to keep a healthy population sp? for the end of the year ... 2) warrens tend to be near eatchother so youl find say a 5holer then a 3holer not far from eatchother ... 3) if the land is owned by anyone then YES you should get permision first ... all land is ownd there for you if you dont get permision then u are poaching ... altho road side and most open areas you can get away with it ... just watch ur back lol ... Ideation 8,217
Also in answer to 1) Ferreting in summer means endless lay ups as your ferret comes across litters of young and kills them in the nest and unless doing true pest control where land will be lost if the rabbits are not killed most ferreters stop during the summer as it can be a proper pain in the arse, feels a bit wrong and will ensure less sport come winter. atb Jai.
