You having a laugh? 3 - 5 miles behind a car with a 5 month old pup? great way to f**k its joints and feet up thats about all you would gain from it. I'll second that, running a puppy behind a car will see it crippled before it reaches maturity. :wallbash: At 5 months a puppy needs to be out and about learning, it doesn't need fitness. What your doing Zippy sounds fine, socialisation, recall and retrieve training is way more important than fitness at that age, its how a puppy learns to grow into a well balanced and steady dog. Plus with the beardy in there at this age using its brain and getting mental stimulation would be far more effective that running it to death.
