Doesn't sound so much inhumane as an utter waste of time, mate. Seen all sorts of scrap metal staked down outside rabbit holes. Respect the quarry? Yes: Don't litter their home enviroment with unsightly and useless junk.

Anyway; Would I be right in wondering if you're actually in Norway, mate?

anything that might set its foot in a snare

:icon_eek: Eh?!?

Ok. Let's begin again, mate. From the beggining: Go to the bottom of this board. Click ye way back to the first ever post. Read that and then read ye way all the way back up to here. Then read the stuff Pinned, at the top of this board, courtesy of Mr Waters.

Then having maybe gained the slightest inkling of what the hell's what; Maybe we can all start again. K?

Off ye go now, and LEARN.

Newbie, maybe. Nobody's suggesting, for a moment, that you're stupid, my friend.

If you're implying that you've sent for Woodga's DVD? Then that'll probably make you one of the Greatest Rabbit Wirers in Norway! Excellent move! :good:

Did ye not also study Peg & Gun's advice on how to snare rats? There's another aspect for you to practice. LOL! Come to that, somewhere on this board there's a massive thread from myself; Detailing exactly how I personally failed miserably to snare a Mink! Study that too. See if you can figure out how the hell I failed! :D

Seriously though; Woodga and his DVD. P&G and his threads. Mr Waters and his detailed sections up top here. Study them and work from them. They'll get ye there. And, if ye do read my own stuff? Well, I imagine things are differant in Norway and, with a little bit of practice, I imagine you may end up delighted with ye own results ;) I really can say no more than that here

Let us all know how ye get on with the study materials you're ammassing. And what ye plan to go after and how. Maybe you too could treat us to a blow by blow account, as I did. Then show us what ye get :)
