best all round running dog

im thinking of gettin a running dog for coursing and lamping but not sure what to get. as im into terriers at min and not sure whats the best breed of running dog .what will be best all rounder dont want a big hound . would like to hear off some of you people what no what there on with .plz cheers

each to there own, every 1 likes certain types that suit there needs, diffrent land they run there dogs on and stuff like that, its a bit like asking what colour should you paint your bedroom, its up to you what you want and what its for, atb samstorm

More accurate? is my answer not good enough, im sure most people have there differnt choices of cross, just coz 1 person says they would recomend this dog or that dog not every 1 buys the first 1 that they come across, every 1 has there own prefrence when it comes to the dogs they run surely?? atb samstorm

for coursing and lamping I'd go for a saluki grey but to work with terriers you might want a stronger dog.
