It's vertually pointless in going to Moulton college for just the GameKeeping course. They do not allow shooting of any type of pests on the estate, only trapping. Also, they only rear 100-200 pheasants a year. If you're seriouse about Game Keeping then try applying for Sparsholt college in Hampshire. In the world of Game Keeping, employers prefer people to have alot of hands-on experience and to have been to a well known college for GameKeeping. Good luck. Quote Link to post

ferretman16 0 Posted January 20, 2010 Report Share Posted January 20, 2010 hi im on the same coarse as youngchud and stuboy92 and the countryside managment course is tree hugging shit and only usefull if you want to be a professional tree huger. the gamekeeping nvq should be alot better because your only in college one day a week but you will be lucky to get a work placement Quote Link to post
