first proper night out

hi went out on friday night with my mate andy on some new permission well actually it was my third night down there but the first two were rained off! im not a fair weather shooter but i can tell you that 50mph winds + serious rain = no shooting in my book anyway took my brand new 17hmr mossberge out with us, we started off on the farm doing the lower fields seing the odd rabbit here and there managed to pick up two down there then we went up to the top fields were there was alot more action the rabbits where sitting tight and well thay just had to have it my 17gr v maxes were really doing the job any way we ended up on eight rabbits would have got a few more i think if our batteries didnt run out :icon_redface: anyway it goes without saying im so happy with my new toy and boy does it beat my air rifle when you hit bugs with this thay stay hit :icon_eek: thanks for your time keep you updated if charlie turns up :thumbs:

went out sat just setting up new scope and out last night no foxes just 2 rabbits. the trip was short due to another crap swith on the light force lamps there the nrw scope fitted ones thats two sent back to deben now not happy.....all the best with tonight mate let me no how you get on

well mate cant say im an expert on them because its my first bullet gun but put it this way im verry happy with mine 2 nights out and sixteen rabbits and one fox later cant be all that bad? :thumbs:
