i just dont belive the answers on here off so called dog men

if you only got that 1 dog an its having this problem, then imo

its even more crucial tae get this right, so let the dog do what you want in its own time, an you will end up wae a better dog in the long run

forcing dogs tae do things will only get you so far, then it'll get you a dog that just dont trust you....

an what good would that be in a lurcher that is ment tae follow an listen tae every command an should be able tae be left tae its own devices when you are busy (i.e. other side of a hedge)

I dont agree. A dog should never be left to its own means. to me retrieving is just as important as returning to you immediately after missing a catch with minimum hunting on! If a dog is left to be "naughty" then its never gonna learn right from wrong!
