dirtwinger 235
Pest, invasive species or otherwise, the only mammals you can legally hunt are rats & rabbits. This come up before, I thought you might be able to get round it because they were marsupials, but then JD reminded me that they still got tits, and are therefore still mammals! I dont care if a wallaby has tits the size of Dolly Partons it isnt a mammal it's a marsupial therefore not covered by the bill so have at it! all the best Dirtwinger Link to post

dirtwinger 235
But a marsupial is a mammal Dirtwinger.....and as for eating them, they stink If a wallaby was a mammal it would be called a mammal not a marsupial. Besides mammals there are two groups of warmblooded animals found in nature, marsupials they have pouches and give birth to extremely undeveloped young and monotremes of which only two species exist. The duckbilled platypus and the echidna both of which have pouches but lay eggs which they incubate in their pouches. Mammals are more evolved descendants of the monotremes and marsupials. Just because marsupials lactate does not make them mammals. Scientifically marsupials are a seperate genera to mammals and no judge could convict of hunting mammals with a dog if you killed a wallaby. all the best Dirtwinger Link to post
Stabs 3
Marsupials ARE mammals and anybody in the UK should NOT be hunting them with dogs. Link to post
