I'm away on my hols for a week so this sale is going to go ahead on the first week of November Priced to sell at £2400 ovno • 1959 Series 2 Land Rover 88 SWB • Tax Exempt • TDi 200 engine (diesel) • 5 Speed Gear Box • 133k miles • Unique Reg Plate (JFO 727) • Coil Sprung Suspension • Solid Shortened Disco Chassis • Power Steering • Disco Seats & Dash • 4 Recent New Goodyear Wrangler Mud & Snow tyres (+2 spares on rims) • Resprayed 4 years ago • X6 super Winch + wired remote control • 2 Rear Fold Down Seats (with seat belts) • Tow Bar and Electrics Fitted • Rock bars • All work/modifications done to this vehicle has been done professionally by my local land rover garage. Mot April 2010 & taxed till Feb 2010 (free tax anyway) Starts first time EVERY time even in the middle of winter, overall good condition, sailed through the last 3 MOT’s. Used daily, only been doing 5k miles per year. Everything on it is solid. Will run all day at a steady 65mph and does 30mpg. Great heater too! Bad bits (not many at all) The window wash has packed in (probably a loose wire) Paints just starting to peel in 1 or 2 little areas. Small ding on the passenger door, 95% of the paint work is solid. This vehicle has been brilliant for shooting/hunting. It’s never failed me, never been stuck and been a great work horse and a joy to drive Any viewing or trail is most welcome (I’m in York) I’ll try and answer all questions when i get back off my hols but am not very mechanically minded but will ring up the garage who built it for further info if required.
