david2363 42
Does anyone know of any lurcher rescue organisations in or near the North West? I met a fella on Saturday who has to part with 3 - 2 Beddy x types and a Whippet type. These dogs are pets and have never been used for hunting. I hate for them to go to the ARSEPCA, and poss PTS. Also rescue centres have waiting lists for small dogs so worth phoning around.
Annmarie09 5
Some of the bigger lurcher rescues have transport networks set up so even if they are not very close by they are still worth a try. Most of the greyhound rescues take lurchers too. Try http://www.grwe.com/ http://www.greyhoundgap.org.uk/ http://www.tiagreyhounds.org.uk/ http://www.greyhoundandlurcherrescue.co.uk/
