borntoshoot 1 Posted October 18, 2009 Report Share Posted October 18, 2009 hi all, just talking to my mate on msn and he told me he was shooting this morn and he opened a box of cartridges and he found a loaded cartridge that had been fired :blink: it had powder, shot and wadd but the primer had been struck (firing pin hit ) like a cartridge tat has been used. what would you do? hes going to email gamebore just to let them know but he isnt going to claim anything becuse as he said to me people make mistakes. I agree. If it was a deliberate or callous mistake then it may be worth making some form of complaint, but a simple mistake is just that. Quote Link to post

If it was a deliberate or callous mistake then it may be worth making some form of complaint, but a simple mistake is just that. we have someone that beats on the same shoot as me and he reloads sometimes and because we order our own custom loads and case print from Eley we get them in paper incase some get dropped, anyway one day he was a bit under the weather (cold) so he drove up to collect our empty's and reload them for his own use, were not too bothered because we only have to get them collected to be disposed of anyway. the next week he came beating and he said he had been pigoen shooting and out of about 500 he reloaded only about 300 he had replaced the primers so he had reloaded and when he came to shoot he realised he had used primers.
