dogs appetite/garlic

Guest mucker

just listened to an add on local radio the add said "if your dogs lost his appetite and gone off his food rub garlic around the rim of the bowl ,,,at such n such we know these things".....

i dont have the problem of fussy eaters but is there any truth in the above tip?.

sounds like nonsence to me.

Just a personal opinion but; If I had a dog who'd gone off his food, I suspect I'd be a bit more concerned than to just be standing there, rubbing Anything on his bowl!

What did they suggest if That didn't work? Witchcraft?

My dogs go potty for table scraps ive cooked with garlic in. So there might be truth in what he says but would it not be easier to just add some garlic to their food

Cat food always gets mine to eat again when they have lost their appetite.
