just been reading Harcombs World of the working terrier and i have to agree with him i have a couple of terriers which i think fit his description of a worker. they are border/lakey X Parson jack. both of there parents were keeper bred and kept, and good dogs both. the sire was one of the cleverest terriers ive seen and a smart looker as well as a great worker.post-30088-1250768679_thumb.jpg

my lads are 15 and 16 inch at the shoulder and just about spannable. even though they are brothers there working stiles are as different as chalk an cheese, the bigger black n tan one deos the job by sheer force and determination whilst the ginger boy will only engage when he has to, both well capable of taking there fox if they wont shift. just wondering what you folks think
