martin 332
Tom , not offended mate. i have been a member for only 2 or 3 years tom, but in that time i have had lots of help from sacs regarding firearms issues south of your border and so have a few people who i have got to join. sacs may have some faults mate , but what have you to gain by going on the way you do. I was also privy to a lot of things that went on that you would'nt believe and would make your hair curl. Members were misled. lied to, their health and youngsters maybe put at risk and you in some way would dismiss all that because you've got 5 terriers and and a couple of spaniels how on earth can i dismiss anything that you where privy to because of the dogs i have. you need to give your head a shake. , grow up and move on. :clapper: :clapper: :clapper: :clapper: :clapper: :clapper: :clapper: :clapper: I totally agree Mark,he is a bit like the jewish nation he won't let it go mate. Foxgun Tom 75
Have'nt a clue what the jewish crack is about Its English and Welsh members of SACs who should feel discriminated against!! this is a direct quote from the SACs website: "We exist to promote and protect the future of country sports in Scotland and Northern Ireland, the environment on which they depend, and the interests of those people who are involved or employed in managing, conserving, and enjoying Scotland's and Northern Ireland's unique sporting heritage". as you can see no mention of Wales or Englands unique sporting heritage? its strange to hear that you'll continue to financially support Scotlands sporting heritage when your own is under attack! and SACs is making it clear they only need membership south of the border for finance and have made no depositions about protecting rural pursuits in England or Wales despite giving people like me assurances they would in the future! They've done nothing on the matter When did they last lobby a Welsh or English MP answer "never!!" as long as you receive membership funds for insuranceand use it in Scotland, you don't have to bother about trivialities like securing and protecting the future of fieldsports in England and Wales or the people involved in them this particular aspect of SACS is unfair, immoral and just downright wrong!! I'd like someone to show me an example of SACs spending one penny on securing or protecting rural pursuits in England and Wales ( unfortunately they can't, at the moment only general advice plus insurance is available to English and Welsh members) In every statement of accounts I've had at a SACs AGM there is no provision for spending money in either of these home countries Tom Ps: sorry for getting of topic again, just felt I had to respond to comments made and point out some realities of life!!
