ferreterni 29 Posted July 4, 2009 Report Share Posted July 4, 2009 (edited) Having to move on one of my hens. Good layer, goes broody well and raises chicks well. She has just started laying after rearing a clutch of chicks up. Lays a good sized egg. Only reason she is going is she has battered one of my other hens and I am still getting that's health back, started to give my minorca a hard time and staring on the chicks today. Was never any trouble until she hatched chicks, and I know it will likely settle down but I don't have the time to bugger about with it. Only got hens for eggs for my nipper growing up. Will likely go broody again soon and does rear chicks well, pics of chicks in chicken section. Be handy for someone with more space, or experience than me.
