hawkanddog 0
Even though my courts are located in the shade the ferrets have been suffering with the heat. I have been giving them a mist spray of water. Thought I'd try giving them a chance to bathe so I have put a hawk bath in, they think its great running and jumping in. Then having a bit lie in it. Thinking of bolting a few trout next season, as I think there may be a bit otter in them. :11: Edited July 18, 2006 by hawkanddog Quote Link to post
The Ferret 0
Some folk stick in frozen 3 litre water bottles for then to snuggle up to and keep cool. I must admit, I've tried it this year and they do tend to like them. Ferret Quote Link to post
pointer28 1
I put a litter tray full of water in with my 3 jills and they had great fun jumping in and out and splashing in it. They had it empty of water in about 15 minutes and made a hell of a mess of the hutch. They looked like a couple of drowned rats but seemed to enjoy themselves. Don't know what to use the next time, the litter tray was too light and they were able to turn it over, but they definitely loved it. Quote Link to post
