my girlfriends cousin was getting married yesterday in charlestown. on the way home today we stopped into sligo for a wee gander. i thought it was a good show the only thing i was disappointed about was the hounds that were brought in for display in the main arena. not a single hound was shown without mange, sores or some sort of large sist hanging from it. i thought it was a disgrace to put them on for display. the mrs put her hand in to pet them i quickly pulled her back. if any ones knows who looks after them plz give them a kick up the arse on behalf of myself and the future mrs.

:o Jeeeeezuss! That's grim!

'Mind you, Sligo's just across the way from me and likely a very similar county? If you saw the way some people treated their 'stock at the local auctions ....? Little kids seem to grow up learning that, if that donkey won't go there? Kick the b*stard there! Seen it with my own eyes, mate. Can well imagine those Hounds :(

Having said that; The guys I know here are some of the Best damn Stockmen I've ever had the pleasure of interacting with :) Born and brought up to it. Their animals are So valuable to them, they treat them almost like children themselves! :good: And So knowledgable. They genuinely make me feel humble.
