Guest MickyB Posted June 8, 2009 Report Share Posted June 8, 2009 Summer is a time when I dont put too much into the ferrets hutches at once, to avoid it getting fly blown. I find pheasant and partridge poults great summer food, the ferrets make short work of them, and there is never any remains that attract the flies. each of my jill ferrets eats about 2 small poults, or 1 big poult per day.
