Bellman and Flint

Had mine for over a whole season, the collar is so tough you could tow a truck with it, ... very usefull above ground for terriers working cover with potential eaths in them, and even better below ground

Batteries last for months and you can locate more than one terrier at a time

What more could you ask for ....

HI BOYZ :welcomeani:

ive been speaking to alot of terrier lad's that use the bellman and flint system and they said they are the dogs bollocks of a locator.

apparantley so i have been told they use these locators on search and rescue dogs in the moutians when there has been a avalanche so the must be good if pepole's lifes depend on them hence the price.

p.s by the way i have ordered one and i will let you know how it goes all the best DIGGIT

one reason i get myself a difrend system is becors i think the B&F transmitter is to big

and you can noy buy one transmitter

i have the tranmitters of the ortovox

the transmitters is 50% the sise of the B&F and you can use the PIEPS system

you meen for on a dog

no thats to big thats the reciver and you can use it as a tranmitter but only as you are on ski's

or something like that

The way i look at it is why buy deben poorly made shite when you can pay an extra £100 and get the best locator system on the market from Bellman and Flint......just what is your dog worth?.... :good:

WHAT DID YOU USE BEFORE B AND F MATE .Did you ever lose a dog because of equipment error, not human error, dodgey batteries.Deben have served us well and will continue to do so .Patients in finding a dog is all that is required ,in an earth thats within the finders capabilities that is .We do not have any scary earths around us and so even the old box was man enough .Im afraid some of the old values are disappearing with technology .Its easy to put dog in and find straight away with this new tech stuff, some of the mystery for me is to locate the area myself ,then to pin point the action using vibrations and head to the dirt. The box then comes out to confirm the dog is there. How many of you would know where to start if the equipment packed up? .Obviously there are times when the box is invaluable but I like to keep my hand in just incase .

wasn't money that made me get the deben i heard some mixed reports bout the bellman being hard to use and that it could be confusing.
