ROZ 0
Bellman and Flint Had mine for over a whole season, the collar is so tough you could tow a truck with it, ... very usefull above ground for terriers working cover with potential eaths in them, and even better below ground Batteries last for months and you can locate more than one terrier at a time What more could you ask for .... Well said, had mydog in a place with thick cover . luckly had B& f on located him in short space of time. when we got dug to him he had acounted for a well grown cub in a tight tube.B& f best on the market at the moment. Squirrel_Basher 17,102
The way i look at it is why buy deben poorly made shite when you can pay an extra £100 and get the best locator system on the market from Bellman and Flint......just what is your dog worth?.... WHAT DID YOU USE BEFORE B AND F MATE .Did you ever lose a dog because of equipment error, not human error, dodgey batteries.Deben have served us well and will continue to do so .Patients in finding a dog is all that is required ,in an earth thats within the finders capabilities that is .We do not have any scary earths around us and so even the old box was man enough .Im afraid some of the old values are disappearing with technology .Its easy to put dog in and find straight away with this new tech stuff, some of the mystery for me is to locate the area myself ,then to pin point the action using vibrations and head to the dirt. The box then comes out to confirm the dog is there. How many of you would know where to start if the equipment packed up? .Obviously there are times when the box is invaluable but I like to keep my hand in just incase . blando 0
well said foxdropper! http://www.ortovox.com/typo7/index.php?id=122&L=1 the locator on this site sais its for dogs, but im guessing it would be no good for digging and it peobabaly wont be any cheaper than the bandF if it could be used?
