caol_an 0
how's it going? I'm new to all this so haven't a clue about what i need so i thought I'd ask. There is a Airarms s300 in the house that's never used. Would i need a license to use this myself? (i think it is currently licensed but not in my name). I've been told that it need a special canister to put air back into it or re-pressurise it. Can any one tell me where to get this?? Or can i use a normal compressor?? I've tried to be as clear as i can here so hopefully someone can help me I live in the north of Ireland if that makes any difference to the law between the countries. cheers, Caolan. cbw 4
Take it to a gunsmith, have it tested and then adjusted to the legal limit, then you should be fine! It can probably be pumped up with a 'stirup' pump or filled at your local dive center or gunshop! CBW Quote Link to post

cbw 4
Sorry if this is condesending, but make sure you keep the gun covered and leave the pellets at home! It may even be worth a quick phone call to the dealer first I am alittle worried from your post that this may be a FAC air rifle and I am unsure of the NI laws. CBW don't worry about it, its good advice specially with all the shit that's happened here recently. I was thinking i'd be better ringing the shop first anyway just to make sure they can do it etc. Thanks again for the advice. I must try and find out what the law says. Cheers!! Quote Link to post
