Every Beddy/Whippet I have seen have been excellent hunters and capable of filling the pot without the aid of a gun. If your dog flushes and gives chase as it will, you will be unable to shoot anything for fear of missing behind and hitting the dog. If you want a pot filler go with the BeddyX, if you want a dog to work with the gun then go for a recognised gundog. Quote Link to post
