Toka 10
Hi, after Aaronpigeonpluckers post on home made chronos i tried the spudfiles.com one and got three results for three shots, of 554.84, 556.96 and 561.26 fp/s [differences due mainly to sloppy work within audacity picking the exact times]... anyway got these but i had a look at my .22 accupels and no info on average weight of a pellet.... so can anyone tell me what the average weight is for a .22 accupel and how i convert grains in to 'what' to multiply with the speed to get a result in ft/lbs... thanks..hope i make sense. lewismac1 1
the Weight of pellet's is... 14.3g -- .22 cal 7.9g -- .177 SSSoooo... total Average fp/s is, 554.84 + 556.96 561.26 =1673.06/3 =557.68. Soo to work out the muzzle energy= Multiply the product of the weight of the pellet (in grains) times the square of the velocity and divide that number by 450240. 14.3x557.68x557.68/45024 9.8 Footpound's Pretty impressive after having 4 cider's It might not be right but im going for a lie down my head is hurting.
