  1. Wow this is why people love the aa s410 (left) bsa ultra (right)
  2. Right thanks! looks like over the next 4 weeks or so I'll get some extra money together and see what I end up at birthday soon as well so every little will help and hopefully by the middle of May I might be somewhere close to affording something more like what I want!
  3. What's the shot count like on the scorpion out of the box is it a lot less than the 410?
  4. I'm in matlock and have called by belper tackle didn't realize they had somewhere to try the guns out? What are the other two shops like ?
  5. That's a cracking looking rifle, Beautiful stock!Lucky man! Is that a scorpion in the background as well?
  6. Wow thanks that would be amazing if I did find something I was considering buying second hand, what a great bunch on this forum! Very much appreciated!
  7. I'll keep an eye out thanks! Is there anything I should avoid with second hand rifles?
  8. I think its probably because I'm not used to or familiar with PCP rifles and would struggle to know what to look for or avoid in the second hand market but appreciate what your saying!
  9. Thanks I've considered the air gun centre as an option, didn't really want to get one on finance prefer 2 only buy what I can afford but I'm swaying slightly now!
  10. PS sorry for the delayed responses as I'm still new and need approval before they show!
  11. Sorry just want 2 clarify big Mac or anyone? what is the shot count on a .177 s410 as all I can find is its about the same as a scorpion 60 ish ?
  12. Thanks again, think the hw100 is an awesome rifle but out of my price range unfortunately and like I said would prefer to buy new as I want the peace of mind of being able to send it back if there is a problem in any way
  13. Thanks for the advice big Mac! The air arms 410 is at the very very top of my budget and would have to hold fire on buying until I'd saved up some more but as you say better buying once than buying twise as I can't afford to waste money. Heard some horror stories of second hand rifles as well so would prefer to buy new if possible and have the peace of mind!
  14. Hi everyone! I'm hoping you can help me decide which PCP air rifle I should buy? I have done a bit of research and I'm still at a bit of a loss, like most of you I started out with a .22 springer many many years ago and that's all I have had shooting experience with and become pretty proficient with it at close range ie 25 yards hitting 2 pence dangling from a tree and head shots 9 out of 10 times, but I'm looking at buying my first PCP! I'd like to be able to shoot at a longer range and possibly do some target shooting so I think it will be a .177, my initial thought was a BSA ultra se after
