    My boy loves my AAS200, he can land pellet on pellet with it and my missus who's not much more than 5 foot has her own in .22. Great gun for the money and proper accurate for hunting.

    Morning, Stripped my Logun S16 last night to source a tiny air leak and replace the seal. This is done and now I'm on the way back to reassembly. I've got a small tub of Abbey LT2 Gun Grease (molybdenum disulphide based), which came with the rifle, just want to know is it suitable for lubing the seals before putting everything back together or would it damage them? If so what should I use instead, any advice would be much appreciated

    Going on holiday for a week on the 1st Dec to Creetown, Dumfries & Galloway with the Mrs. Does anyone know of any target ranges, clay shooting or archery in the area?? Or any ideas of local places to visit?? Cheers

    Thanks DTW but I did manage to gently tap out three pellets with a cleaning rod before reading your post.....hopefully no damaged seal. Seems to have held air all night and shoots well, possibly too well, will have to chrono it tomorrow and check it's power.

    Thanks Moxy, Hopefully will pick it up today, try and get the money down a bit but thought it sounded about right. Done a bit of research on them now seems they are prone to blocking if you don't give a good shove home when loading, hopefully it's only one pellet!! Read you're thread on the stolen guns, hope you're mate has success in getting them back or a least finding out which took them. ATB

    Hi all Just wanted any opinions on the Logun S16 Mk2. I've been offered one for £300 with everything there, including divers bottle, bag, scope, mags, bipod the only down point is there is a pellet stuck in the barrel. Having never had this problem myself is it easy enough to rectify at home or would it be a specialist job? Any opinions on gun, price and if that pesky pellet would be easy to remove would be appreciated. Cheers

    I did think that but as a cross reference I did thirty shots through today with my partners S200 .22, which came back with an average of around 11 ft/lb. Thats a relatively new gun also, with probably less use than mine, coming in at a figure I'd be happy with, so to me I reckon the chrony seems to be working ok.

    Cheers Rez, Cheers Mark, I think that's the obvious answer, I really can't see thing improving drastically after a couple of boxes of pellets!! I'm sure I read that heavier pellets give an increased muzzle energy but don't really understand that as even though lighter & heavier pellets travel at different speeds surely the gun remains at the same power??? Anyway, you wouldn't keep hold of a 300bhp car if it was running at half power would you?? So back off to the shop tomorrow, hope it doesn't take too long to sort out. Thanks again.

    Hi, Just after some advice, recently got back into shooting and have a 6 week old Air Arms S200 .177 Yesterday I received my new Chrony Alpha as I thought it would be interesting to do a bit of research and because my Mrs also shoots we thought we'd make the investment. Went out today and got and average of 620 FPS out of 30 shots with JSB Match Diablo's which come in at 8.44 gr, entered details on this calculator http://extorian.co.uk/shooting/pellets.html and it came back with a ft/lb figure of 7.21 for my rifle.     Got to say I'm really impressed! I tried the AA S400 while down at Treetops Shooting ground in Newport and decided then that the Hatsan just didn't cut it for me. The day after I went to a local RFD, tried out a few different models and found the S200 was the one, size, accuracy and price was spot on plus they offered me a really good deal on part ex with the AT44. I opted for the .177 as it was what I grew up with and personally I am confident that I can dispatch in a clean and humane way using this calibre.     Morning All, Just thought I'd introduce myself. I'm back into air rifle hunting after nearly 20 years off and typically everything has changed while I was gone but it doesn't take long to pick things back up and realise how much you've missed the things you grew up with as a kid. I'm now the proud owner of an Air Arms S200 Mk3 .177 and we're very happy together thank you I had a Hatsan AT44-10 for all of 3 weeks but would have stood more of a chance of hitting anything if I'd threw it at the target from 50 yds away.
