Just a bit of fun on a Friday night. For the past few weeks I have been training with my shooting coach. Each evening a pigeon or two flies through the range in defiance and the firm knowledge that the cartridges on my barrels were spent. Which is why after the smiles that these pigeons had been prividing turned to joy as i slipped the extra cartridge that was in my coaches hand (just in case) into the bottom barrel. A gentle thud as the box lock closed. Gotcha :-) pigeon fillets for tea! I wonder if his pals will be so bold next week.

Just joined Hunting Life and the forums. I'm 52 and have been Shooting, Fishing and Hunting since a small boy. Born in a Cotswold Village to a farming family I still work in agriculture providing specialist technologies improving livestock performance and animal welfare. I enjoy my shooting as a challenging field sport but I also compete at a reasonably high level of English Skeet. I shoot air rifles, small bore and shotgun.
