  3. Never heard of a shooting cushon?? Not wanting to sound stupid but what is in?? I get a canny boinng noise from the hammerli aswell, is there any way I can reduce the noise?? I love the hammerli, I havnt took my gas out since I got it!!

  6. Hi, I have a hammerli 800, its a breakbarrel, can I get a bipod to fit it as I'm unsure if you can put one on as they fit on bolt action etc roughly where the barrel would break??

  9. Hi, I've ordered some promethious pellets, just been in the trading post and asked about them, apparently they have no direction and can score the barrel, is this true or is he just saying this so I will but lead pellets from him??

Thanks, sounds like a good approach, think ill give that a go, most likely to be rabbits and pigions round here, place is rife with them, I have my eye on a certain farm, massive amount of land with a large patch of woods in the middle, want to take the right approach and hopefully get the use of it!! Fingers crossed ay!!

Hit a rough patch there as I don't really have anything to offer, was a doorman and now a delivery driver, mabe an offer that if they have any problem pests we will stay out until it is dealt with?? We are both B.A.S.C members, don't know if that will be any help to us?? I did try to ask this in the new members section, but I think the only replies I got were from people trying to bump their posts up

Thanks for the advice - I would never have thought of the 11am thing, we were going to try putting cards through the door saying we would visit in (eg 2 days) just so they would know we were coming, and why, unsure how we would word it though, also when we finally do get permission do we need to get something in writing or just shake of hand??

Hi, I was hoping to get some advice from the more experienced people on here, what is the best/most succesful way to approach farmers/land owners for use of their land, and anyone from the north east know of any landowners/farmers that let them use their land, dying to get out there but want to do it legally
  15. Hello all, new member from sunderland, and I'm after advice already. Myself and a friend have decided to take up hunting as a hobby, we have both fancyed trying for a while. Be have both joined B.A.S.C so are insured, after looking and trying out air rifles I have bought a TH78D 2.2, and a webley venom viper 2.2. Anyway, I am wanting opinions/advice on approaching farmers for use of their land, the idea we had was maybe getting cards printed explaining we are B.A.S.C members and interested in hunting (if that's the right word) on their land and would call back in (E.G) 2 days, this was just
