After reading some of the previous threads on this topic i felt rather compelled to post. I myself have two young X's, and i have to say that they are magnificent dogs. The speed is remarkable, very easily trained, pick up scents quickly, but have a tendency to bring back a lot of squirrels... They are only 4 months old, so i suppose time will tell, however, they do show potential and are far from stumpy nose down stubborn mongrels
