  1. cheers for the offer Si, I think pushing to £300 is going to be tricky to justify I hadn't really given any thought to the fact that the wife\kids will find it unwieldy when they start to use it. This info may have just changed my outlook on what I want as I may be better served getting a cheaper simple good quality rifle that would be suitable for juniors to start with, and then getting the cash together for something that will last me for years to come next summer (HW97 or the equivalent Air Arms). I'm happy to wait for the right gun to come up 2nd hand if I've got something I can h
  2. Nice guns you have there Having recently returned to shooting air rifles myself i have been looking at the Daystate range but it's a bit out of my price range at the moment. They're on the list for when it's time to upgrade or buy a 2nd rifle
  3. A quick hello Just getting back into air rifle shooting, with the intention of some pest control shooting somewhere down the line. Have had a butchers around the site and look forward to soaking up the news and wealth of information that's contained within. Happy hunting D
  4. Firstly hello everyone, have been reading this forum for a large part of the last couple of days as I'm about to purchase my first air rifle in over 25 years. My first (and only) was .177 break barrel (no idea of the make\model) which I got from a friend for £25 when I was 13. I bought it with no regard for any of the air rifle laws, as you do when you're a teenager living in the countryside with bugger all to do of a summer holiday other than play in the woods\orchards near where you live (simpler times eh) and kept it successfully hidden from my parents until I moved out when I was 20.
