Depends were u are I don't know many from England but If u were from n.i and u wanted good strong lines then something out of Irish lady or lucas would be a good choice... But having them lines doesn't make your dog all that.. The best bitch I ever seen run was a £30 bitch and shed outrun any dog allday long
are you taking the piss desy

And nomoon we'd need certain questions like some of don't have time to sit and write paragraphs but if he asks questions id be happy to answer them to what I know of salukis
what lines would you consider yourself knowledgeable on desy as iv been thinking strongly about getting a bitch pup

What kind of help do u need.. Salukis aren't the best to start working with they can be very disobedient if not trained properly

a friend of mine has a line greyhound ferrets the last 20 years even the hobs in the line are small an lean iv never had a bad one of him
-
I'm sure its been done loads of times.
What your preferences and why for working ?
I've always had Jills...couple small and couple average sized for all occasions.
But I have worked alongside chaps who prefer hobs. ( some wont have anything else ).
The thing that put me off hobs is they get mental when there balls drop and they come in season..they lose all sense of hunting and only want sex..But the jills seems to handle it a bit better and still put a shift in when there getting hormonal.
I am thinking of trying a couple of Hobs next year... maybe breeding myself a few kits.
i always prefer working small hobs for the simple reason iv no interest in breeding ferrets
