Hi everyone I'm new to the hunting life and I'm hoping to meet local people that I can tag along with, I have two cracking young lurchers and I've been doing some recall and retrieve traing with them I would now like them to see experienced dogs out in the field doing what they do best. It would be great to meet local ish people that wouldn't mind me tagging along for a bit of banter and a good old chat

Thanks everyone, I'm sure the dogs will crack it themselves but a little help along the way would be great and just the excuse for a trip out and a bit of banter while seeing how other people do things is a good enough excuse for an extra day out

Hi, I've today joined the hunting life as i hear it's very helpfull for all us like minded country people. I've recently rekindled my love for ferreting etc as I spent so much time as a lad out in the country rabbiting fishing etc. I had ferrets and spent a lot of time time doing all those fun things that come free ( unlike youth of today who want playstations etc) I now have more ferrets and recently rehomed a young lurcher bitch who was 5 months old from a couple who didn't have the time for her. I've spent time recall and retrieve training with a dummy and this young bitch is now 12 months
