    mtc viper 6-24x56 as new been on my gun for 2 months only been out twice. only selling due to the scope being far too powerfull for the air rifle i have it on and want something a little less fancy. it has all the parts from new mounts sun shade scope cover will be sent in the box as it came. £200 ono contact russ22@live.co.uk or 07717298435 i have pictures but they are to big to upload to here. the scope is advertised elsewhere.

    If they got their information from GMK then don't hold your breath, I'll have 10p on it with you it will be nearer July 2014 than July this year! really? i hope not. sometimes i think am being too fussy but then again i dont want to buy something am not going to be 100% happy with. am not sure where they got their info from i never asked i saw that sako have it on their website so fingers crossed. i might email sako direct and ask them be worth a try u think???

    its looking more and more like it the bloody camera not able to pick up the 850nm ir as it works perfect through the scope during the day and i can pick up all the street lights at great distance at night through the scope.(dont worry there is not rifles pointing alll about the village the scope is off the gun) i have another camera i will try and see how it does but probably be the same.

    i did look at them as well but am not so keen on the higned floor plate mag. i have been told by a few RFD's that sako are bring out a lefty in the 85. so i think i will just wait for it they said july time so we will see.

    Yes i got it new. Oh so they maybe are not the cameras for me then. Most of the foxes and rabbits round where i shoot are very lamp shy. So i was going to try and make a night vision as i had a ns200 but it wasnt up to the money was very bad picture and thought i could make better but it seems not. (Bugger) Am not sure what distance am looking for the further the better for spotting then try calling them in. As there will be no light it will be easier i would think.

    Yes the leds are disconnected. Insee on your one it says it has a 10m range. Thats not the problem is it? I am using a nm800 IR with the camera. No it doesnt have a filter. Will have to look into that cams. Only wanted to get the thong working cheap to see if i could make it first then was going to upgrade to a watec camera.

    Same result no distance at all but during the day i get much better but i have double checked and made sure i have an IR camera and that my lens is also IR and both are so am a bit stuck just now.

    I am looking for a good lef handed rifle but am struggling to find one i like and running out of ideas. I have been told sako are coming with a 85 wood blued hunter in lefty but not for a few months. I have to say am maybe being a bit fussy i want a new gun threaded and to have a box mag they are a must. I was looking for synthetic and stainless but dont like tikka. So thats my problem! Any ideas am looking for a good rifle mid range ish.

    I have built my nv using the above stuff for just now but i cant seem to get any distance am only getting 10ft or so even through my scope. Oh and also i am using a nm800ir Not the stuff u have spoken about but the stuff i have on my first post. Still getting to grips with this forum copying quotes etc sorry.

    Hi Russ, the camera you ordered on ebay is one with a Super HAD CCD II Chip. But i think the better Chip for Night Vision ist Sony EXview HAD II Chip. Should be 2x more sensitive for IR.     I have made my night vision with a 700 tvl ir board camera and have fitted a 16mm lens. Have a 4.5" screen and a nm 800ir light but i cant get any further than 10ft through my scope any ideas in what i could try?????

    Also how far do you think the olson ir led would be good for?? I have ordered the ir filter for my roof mounted 170 lightforce see how that goes.

    Hey shergar i have been looking at that post also and will be looking to have one as clean on the gun as that. And thanks for that adive scramble i will kepp that in mind. I am just looking to keep the costs down for the first model to make sure i can make it work. Then the mk2 will be an all singing model no holding back. Am not the best with electronics but hopefully will be good. The reason i have decided to make one is because the guybi usually go out lamping with bought a ns200 only had it 4 days and put it back for the money he paid (£600) we felt we could make one that had a better p

    i have been on this forum for just a short time but i have got some very good information about the do's and dont's of making my own night vision. so i have been searching on ebay for the parts needed but struggling to find a lamp/torch to do the job of distance. so far i have ordered the following 230819766350 a battry. 261076609645 the screen 360246543274 the lens 280933990746 the camera. now afetr i bought it i never really noticed at the time but its 0.1 lux so how good would this be for distance i will probably need a very good ir laser to get a good picture? i also thought about t
