Outright ban
Been said earlier
Our country our rules you don't like it live elsewhere
Some people need to realise that we don't need to change coz they came here to live
They need to change coz they came here to live
What's so bad they need to hide it anywhere

Looking for a roe sack if anyone has one for sale
Let me know guys cheers

I have knocked Roe Down at 229 yards with my .223 and fox further, so 200 yards is straightforward and easier with a 22-250.
I see the 22-250 as a strange calibre, largely because of the Law, but there is debate anyway.
It is a very capable calibre, and easily capable of dealing with Roe, and bigger deer, but there you have the Law.
I see it as a top end Fox calibre but not as capable as a .243 with a 55g or 58g V-Max, which personally I would rate as the best long range fox setup available, it is not only a pussycat to shoot but laser like and devastating on arrival. Of course the .243 is also ALL deer legal in Scotland/England/Wales with the heavier ammo as well!
Reloading costs are slightly less than .243, but factory ammo is similar price for both.
So, if you want what a 22-250 gives you then why not a .243 with better performance, similar factory ammo costs, longer barrel life, more versatility, less noise, and I don't see it any harder to get than a 22-250.
Don't get me wrong here, there are many who love their 22-250 and it serves them well, It doesn't do it for me, I run .223, .243 and .308 in CF and with those and the ammo availability I have no need of a 22-250. But if I could only keep 1 Centrefire it would be the .243, it would never be a 22-250.
Like I said we are all different and have different requirements and there are those that love their 22-250 and it suits them fine.
Seems to me though if your mates are into 22-250, the argument goes then, why another? Versatility has its uses and they will likely get a surprise if you had a .243.
From a simple point of view of practicality and versatility, when I'm out with a shooting companion we VERY seldom both carry the same calibre, usually a few levels between us so we can cover loads of eventualities between us.
Give it some thought.
CHEERS FOR THE INFO IT'S APPRECIATED ANDI WILL GIVE IT SOME THOUGHT BUT WHAT YOUR SAYING MAKES SENSE BUD. CHEERS
